Chunky Ring with Cut-Out Detail

In this session you will make a 6mm wide silver ring, ideal to wear as a thumb ring or a statement piece on any finger. You will learn to cut out a simple heart using a piercing saw, however, should you want to keep yours plain you are welcome to. You will practice this on copper first. You will then form this using a ring mandrel and solder it closed. Textures can then be added using different hammer types before polishing.

Health and Safety: When attending jewellery classes, please ensure you are appropriately dressed, we will be working with an open flame so no open toe shoes or loose sleeves please and also ensure long hair is tied back. If you wear glasses please bring them, some parts of the workshop require close examination of your jewellery.
